Automation isn't here to steal your job

Typically when we hear the word ‘robotic’ we get into a tizzy and automatically think of the creepy robot movies we’ve all seen (yes, we know you have) and have this pre-conceived notions that bots are bad to humans. While in movies it can make for a pretty good story line, it’s a bit different in reality. The bots we’re talking about are not here to destroy your work environment, the bots are here to bring transformational change to organizations. A good disruptor.  

It seems that everyone we talk to lately is experiencing a staff shortage. Know what this means? The work is still there but now it’s being distributed amongst the existing staff. So what organizations are seeing is increasing stress, burnout, fatigue and a real hit to morale. Everyone’s now asking, how long can we keep this up?

Let’s look to the future of work. According to the World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Report 2020, two important key findings were that technology will continue to move at an accelerated pace and will be a consistent high priority for organizations. They also predict that approximately 97 million roles will evolve as a result of this technology shift. As the digital workforce is built, we do away with the repetitive (and mundane) tasks leaving room for jobs that provide growth and depth for individuals. Allowing them to bring their humanity to work, and exercise their creativity, innovation and problem solving skills. 

Automation is helping organizations transform and thrive. The staffing shortage is becoming an increasing problem and organizations can’t wait and hope that someday it will get better. Automation provides relief, cost savings in this uncertain economy and ensures that your staff are taken care of and achieving a healthy work-life balance. We’re all about leading the revolution on how work gets done in companies, changing not only the way people work for the better, but also their lives as a result. A computer shut down at 5pm for the evening, means a family has more quality time together. Maybe it means someone gets to participate in a hobby, volunteer work or just relax and read a book. RPA is truly taking care of our workforce so we can continue to build longevity.
